Petition: STOP Unwanted SMS / STOP Junk SMS / STOP SMS SPAM

We have registered our mobile phone numbers in the National Do Not Call Registry (NDNC), still we get lots of unwanted junk SMS everyday.

Does anything work in this country? The DND (Do Not Disturb) service is useless. The junk SMS service works super efficiently. Thanks to all the corrupted officers in the government department, it seems nothing can be done except to live with it.

Is there anybody who can stop the misuse of bulk SMS? Despite registering our numbers in the NDNC (Do Not Disturb), we get many SMS everyday about builders selling their flats, apartments, farmhouses, plots, etc.

We also get junk SMS about slimming belts, herbal medicines to enhance body performance at selected places, touring exotic places, purchasing similar additional mobile phone numbers, or some other promotion, etc.

Please do something to STOP this SMS abuse.

We, the undersigned, request ALL concerned / relevant government agencies/departments to put an end to this SMS Abuse.
