Petition: Provide Call Details
We are prepaid mobile users. We, the undersigned, ask ALL Mobile phone companies in India to provide us outgoing call details (same as for post-paid users) & number of SMS sent (daily) along with running balance, including recharges / top-ups made by us.
Many a times we find that our balance goes down dramatically and there is no explanation / answer and we are left at the mercy of call center executives. No solution. No explanation. No return. We are left fretting and fuming and we feel outrightly cheated.
We are pre-paid mobile users. We pay and then use mobile phones. Our payment reaches you before we get to make calls or send SMS. This is an all cash deal. You don’t have to wait for our payments to arrive. You don’t have to send reminders for any pending bills. You don’t have to make calls or send anybody to collect payments. We are the people who bother you the least as far as money is concerned.
Despite the above facts, the treatment we get from you makes us feel as if we are a burden on you. We feel unwanted. Yes, you wouldn’t know if we are going to recharge next month or not, the same can be said for a post-paid user because s/he too can change the operator anytime. Its an irony that people who pay you in advance are look upon with suspicion and are considered as second rate.
